- From the seaward lawn looking mauka at the house, West Maui Mountains rising behind it, open sky across the upper third.
- The subject
- Two story wood plantation house, white board siding, deep green hipped roof with wide eaves, full width lanai on turned posts, double hung windows.
- The light
- Late afternoon, low sun off the ocean behind the viewer washing the west face of the house warm and throwing long shadows across the lawn.
- Behind it
- Mown lawn, clipped plumeria hedge, a red dirt track, and dusty green kiawe and cane grass massed into flat simple shapes.
- The distance
- Ridges of the West Maui Mountains flattened to violet grey bands, the notched cleft of Olowalu Valley and the low cinder cone of Puu Kilea.

How it was made
A language model writes the composition brief and a diffusion model paints the artwork. The house style, palette, depth rules and typesetting are ours, applied the same way to every poster. The titles are never painted; they are composited afterwards as vector outlines.
